Quick fixes when you’re down

Pixie sent me this link, and at first I scoffed because of where it’s from. Then I read through it. Yeah, some of them sound pretty lame to me. But for the most part, they’re pretty solid ideas for little things you can do to cheer yourself up:

A few of them were quite close to some Ariochisms that I’ve learned throughout the course of my own life:

“Make the time to take a break and enjoy the simple things which you enjoy. The net result will be a happier, healthier, and more productive you.”

“Take the time to let people know when they’ve done something that you appreciate, particularly when they didn’t intend to do it. They may have been arguing with you and helped to pull you back into balance or something completely different. Whatever the case, take the time to at least say ‘Thanks, man.'”

“If you’re feeling down, make sure you remember to take care of the basics. It’s amazing how much of a difference a good exercise session, a hot meal, or even a relaxing shower can make in your mental outlook.”
